# ChannelLogo

Official Nashville PBS channel lockups (WORLD, Create TV, ALL ARTS, PBS KIDS) and the Nashville PBS Passport lockup, rendered from artwork embedded in the bundle, so a consuming page needs no asset folder. Use it wherever a show, schedule or promo belongs to a specific channel.

```jsx
<ChannelLogo channel="world" tone="white" height={40} />            // on Navy, PBS Blue, pattern, gradient, photo
<ChannelLogo channel="world" orientation="stacked" height={140} />  // vertical lockup
<ChannelLogo channel="allarts" height={32} />                       // on white
<ChannelLogo channel="create" tone="white" height={64} />           // the station's reverse of Create's stacked co-brand
<ChannelLogo channel="kids" print tone="reverse" height={72} />     // PBS KIDS reverse: PRINT ONLY (registered mark)
<ChannelLogo channel="passport" tone="white" height={36} />         // Nashville PBS Passport (Navy and Passport blue; white on dark)
```

`tone="color"` on white and light surfaces, `white` on dark ones, `black` for one-color print; PBS KIDS also takes `reverse` (white circle, PBS Blue letters) for PBS Blue surfaces. The component falls back to the nearest supplied variant (Create has only the stacked co-brand; ALL ARTS and PBS KIDS have one shape). `ChannelAssets.uri.<channel>.<variant>` exposes the same artwork as data URIs for CSS backgrounds and logic classes, and `ChannelAssets.uri.pbs` is the national PBS logo (color, white) that `AppPromo` uses.

**PBS KIDS on screen is the color digital-use file only.** The white, reverse and black PBS KIDS files carried here are the national print files with the registered mark; `print` unlocks them. For a screen layout that needs the Reverse, White or Black colorway, place the station-derived digital files from `assets/channels/` by hand (`PBS_KIDS_Reverse_RGB_Digital.svg`, `_White_`, `_Black_`, no registered mark); the station kept them in use on 2026-11-06 (brand book, Sub-brands and Channels). **PBS KIDS is not a co-brand lockup** (Station Logo Architecture 1.2.1): place it with `KidsArchitecture`, never inside the station lockup.

Rules: never recolor, rotate, stretch or separate the Nashville PBS wordmark from a channel mark; keep the clear space the brand book sets for the station logo; on air use the white tone inside title-safe; one channel mark per graphic, beside or instead of the station lockup. In copy: WORLD, PBS KIDS 24/7, Create TV, ALL ARTS; with channel numbers (TV and streaming guides only) WNPT Nashville PBS, WNPT2 WORLD, WNPT3 PBS KIDS, WNPT4 Create; ALL ARTS is digital and has no number. The print masters are in this artifact's `assets/channels/` (the PBS KIDS `_CMYK_Print` files, the WORLD, All Arts and Create files as the channels supplied them, the Passport lockups); the rules are in the brand book under Sub-brands and Channels.
