# Charts

The chart register: categorical, line, stacked, donut and stat tiles drawn from the chart tokens, with the validated palettes

A reference sheet, not a component. Every mark is drawn from the `chart-*` tokens in tokens.json and follows the mark specs in the brand book under Data Visualization (thin bars with rounded data-ends, 2px lines, 2px surface gaps, hairline grid, selective labels, legend for two or more series, text never in the series color). Hover a mark to see its value; a live chart adds a real tooltip layer and a table view. The sheet is generated by the maintainer's `harness/gen_charts.py`, so a token change redraws it.
