1. Audience and Reach

Nashville PBS serves Middle Tennessee across four broadcast channels, the free PBS app and PBS KIDS. This section sets out where the audience is today and the three commitments that follow from it.

Where viewers find us

Streaming grew faster than broadcast for the third year, while broadcast remains the largest single source of viewing time. Members who stream give more often, not more.

1.1 Staffing

Add one producer to the digital team and move scheduling to a shared calendar by the second quarter.

"The lessons remind me of the essence of what good teaching is."Maggie Nash, viewer

What this means

Plan digital first, then adapt for broadcast, not the reverse.

Body 12pt black, 1.5 leading, never justified. Major headings ride a full-width Yellow (or Navy) bar in 20pt bold; numbered strategies are bold labels on a Yellow block; pull quotes are italic on a Yellow banner. The header carries the small color logo, the footer the page number.
